Happy Friday

After taking some mental health days last Thursday and Friday, this has felt like a very loooooooong work week.... LOL

Earlier this week I finished the Autumn Cottage Boxer, and it is quite cute. I even made a trip to Hobby Lobby for some finishing fabric, but haven't yet commenced the sewing (I'm thinking pillow for this one). And I haven't taken a picture yet, either. I need to do that, as well as post my TUSAL pic! Maybe later tonight, or this weekend.

I started another small project, this time it is Homespun Elegance's 2011 "Jingle Jingle" ornament. I'm going to do this one as Wee One's ornament for the year. That's not to say that I won't stitch any other ornaments, just that this one will be her annual one! After doing the Santa Factory one for her last year, I'm thinking I'd like to give her at least one Santa-themed ornament every year for as long as I'm stitching.

Speaking of Wee One, one of my projects last weekend was to make my stitchy corner even more toddler-unfriendly. All of my WIPs migrated from an open-topped basket to a plastic tote with a locking lid! She was having entirely too much fun pulling projects out and dumping thread bobbins all over. Not good!

Oh, and I CAN share a pic of my ornament for the HOE Words of Christmas exchange. I stitched "Windows of Joy" by Primrose Needleworks, in the December 2007 issue of The Gift of Stitching. I had some trouble with the finishing - silly me, trying to use purchased cording instead of making my own. I did my best to cover it nicely with some extra thread and some beads at the bottom.... Gwen was the recipient, and this pic is from her.I'm trying to decide if I want to participate in the next round of ornament exchanges....I'm kind of focused on projects for myself and my family right now.

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
