I blame my mother.

Mom came out to watch the Wee One on Friday, because our daycare was closed and my husband and I both had to work. Yesterday she took me shopping, and we had a lovely time in Kohl's. I tend to have good luck finding things that fit and look good on me in Kohl's. I was just making a quick pass through the seasonal clearance racks, and then I saw it.....a Ralph Lauren red wool coat, with big toggle buttons and a hood. Of course I didn't NEED it. I have 2 wool coats already, one gray and one an oatmeal brown. But it was so pretty! And the price tag...well, that was the kicker. Originally priced at $189, it was marked down to $18.50! So it came home with me. :)
And after that...well, my impulsivity was on a roll. We went to the stitching shop, and after drooling over "Autumn at Hawk Run Hollow" for a ridiculously long time, that came home with me, too.
Maybe I'll wear my red wool coat while I stitch it.

Oh, I love Kohl's too. I find the greatest bargains there. I love their aggressive marketing. I will miss them for the next 6 months.
Congrats on your beautiful red coat. You make me smile at a picture of you stitching away in your coat. LOL

What an awesome deal! And everyone knows that red coats are warmer than gray and brown. ;-)

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
