Finishes!

Where does the time go, anyway?? *sigh* It seems there are never enough hours in the day anymore. But between working, spending time with my beautiful and fascinating daughter (I can still say such things, she isn't old enough for it to go to her head yet!), and trying not to get buried under housework, I've still managed to stitch a bit. I finished "Autumn Meeting" -
- and once I was done with that, I pulled "Father Christmas" by Shepherd's Bush out of my WIP/UFO pile and finished that, too.
I go back and forth as to how much I really like these 2 projects. The Christmas one especially just doesn't "speak" to me the way it did when I started it. Maybe this will be one I'll try framing myself, and then put up for sale in my Etsy shop? Hmmm. As for the autumn piece, I absolutely love the colors but I'm not crazy about the random things (leaves? flowers?) scattered at the bottom. I think I'm going to finish this one as a little pillow, so maybe with the right edging fabric I'll like it more.

Have a lovely weekend, all! My mother is coming to visit, so maybe I'll take a few minutes to stitch while she plays with Monkey. :)

Glad you are finding a little bit of time to stitch at least.

I really like your Christmas piece, and I like the pillow idea for the autumn piece. :-)

Very pretty finishes.

I have to ask which is the front end of the sheep (assuming that's a sheep) and what is that string coming off of it? My gutter mind is coming up with all kinds of inappropriate things!

Craft Sale!

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
