But it WAS a productive weekend, after all

(Although it wasn't long enough. Are they ever?) Yesterday I worked on the Happiness Is sampler - picture in yesterday's post below - and made a quick run to the grocery store. Today was our employee picnic, and I had to make my "pink stuff," also know as acini de pepe salad. It is quite tasty....pasta, a custard base, pineapple, mandarin oranges and cherries, and Cool Whip. My recipe makes a huge bowl of the stuff, and it was gone when we left the picnic! I was a little bummed that I didn't win the raffle for the collaborative quilt, but we had fun anyway. hehehe

Tonight I've been working on another Christmas sprite - because I said I would, after all! - and I might actually have her mostly finished tonight, if I get off the computer. LOL And this morning I made my first pinkeep! I used Just Nan's "Butterfly Lace" pattern, which I stitched up last year. This was actually a possibility for the Just Nan exchange, but I decided against it. I had some issues with the ribbon at the top, and I just didn't feel it was the best option. But here it is...The backing fabric is actually a plain dark green cotton, not that gold silk I used for the picture.

So my mother and I set up our little table at the craft fair this past weekend.  And we didn't do terribly!  I sold $125 worth of needle...
